Our Philosophy
- Precision matters. Whether it's anatomical accuracy in medical illustration or pixel-perfect UI design, details carry weight. We don't cut corners because they're easy.
- Story comes first. Beauty without purpose is decoration. We think every animation, every layout, every design decision should move the narrative forward, not distract from it.
- Independence informs everything. We choose our clients and our projects. We're not chasing trends or awards. We're building work that will still feel elegant in five years.
- Curiosity isn't a buzzword. We learn new tools, new techniques, new ways of seeing problems. 3D Slicer. 3DS Max. Blender. Code. Whatever serves the work.
The Founder
Diana started out drilling teeth for a living. Maybe unsurprisingly it wasn't always very enjoyable and all she could see were problems. Problems need solutions and she went on a quest to see if she could find them. She searched high and low, in degrees from institutions with faculties full of mentors, and in large companies building… large companies. But the more she looked the more of a maze emerged.
The beginnings of something new...
A very scratchy itch.
Frustrated by the lack of design thinking in medical education and technology she set about trying to develop her own ideas.
After completeing an MSc in Medical Visualisation and working jobs in image analysis and simulation, now it was time to cut the cord of a 9-5 and jump into the world of business creation.
2026 Aorta Arts is born!
